About the position:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of experience and education, and
• 2+ years SaaS Sales experience.
• 1+ Years experience in the Oil & Gas industry - REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identifies and nurtures strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
• Develops a pipeline of new business, expansion and renewal opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact prospecting.
• Works with Marketing, sales development, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory or market segment.
• Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
• Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs, challenges, and goals.
• Conduct thorough discovery meetings to gather information about client requirements and effectively present tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition of our products/services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with clients to close deals and secure new business opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential areas for growth and innovation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales manager or leadership team.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand your network and stay informed about industry developments.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B sales environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions effectively
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Some travel may be required for on-site client visits & training.
