Job Title: Lead Administrative Assistant Location: Houston, Texas, USA
Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (Typically Friday)
Pay: $40 - $44/hr
Possibility for Extension: Based on business needs
Interviews: Conducted virtually via MS Teams

Position Overview The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the General Manager and leadership team within Chevron’s Supply & Trading and Shipping organizations. This role ensures efficient operations by managing schedules, communications, travel, and internal coordination.

Provides administrative or office support to non-executive employees, departments, or functions. Manages group and employee work to align with corporate/department objectives. Direct reports are typically individual contributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage executive calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Screen and respond to emails and correspondence on behalf of assigned employees.
  • Organize and support meetings, conferences, and team events.
  • Maintain communication across internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and handle confidential documents.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless operations.
Required Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of administrative experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain, trading, or energy industry environments.
  • Familiarity with global travel coordination and compliance requirements.
