Senior Asset Integrity Management System Specialist / Coordinator – FPSO Project

🎯 About the Position As part of the FPSO project engineering activities, the client is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) Specialist / Coordinator to strengthen its team.
You will play a key role in technical oversight of asset integrity, risk management, inspection activities, and AIMS coordination across a broad operational scope.
This position requires autonomy, deep technical expertise, and strong ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines. You will support the AIMS Manager by ensuring technical performance, regulatory compliance, and asset reliability.

🎯 About the Position As part of the FPSO project engineering activities, the client is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) Specialist / Coordinator to strengthen its team.
You will play a key role in technical oversight of asset integrity, risk management, inspection activities, and AIMS coordination across a broad operational scope.
This position requires autonomy, deep technical expertise, and strong ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines. You will support the AIMS Manager by ensuring technical performance, regulatory compliance, and asset reliability.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper execution of AIMS services for the project in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Support the implementation of AIMS risk management processes (DGS, deferral process, FFS…).
- Guarantee preparation, compliance, and availability of inspection plans (5 Week, 4Q, 60Q).
- Supervise work execution: safety, quality, compliance, analysis, and categorization of findings.
- Provide technical leadership to inspection and discipline engineers and coordinators.
- Manage interfaces with offshore teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Contribute to unit shutdown preparation and shutdown planning.
- Validate the technical content of Written Schemes of Examination.
- Supervise the development of SOWs (Routine & Non‑Routine).
- Promote the use of non‑invasive and advanced inspection technologies.
- Ensure accurate and efficient data management within IDMS and CMMS.
- Endorse and review reports for accuracy, conciseness, and clarity.
- Lead anomaly management and Fitness for Service processes.
- Participate in or lead technical reviews: RBA, shutdown reviews, anomaly reviews, planning, etc.
- Participate in audits (client, internal, verification) and site visits.
- Support client reporting (technical reports, KPIs, performance indicators).
- Lead or support RCA investigations related to integrity issues.
- Engineering degree (B Eng or equivalent).
- API 510, API 570, API 579 (or equivalent FFS experience).
- ASME or CSWIP Plant Inspector Level 2 certification.
- Strong knowledge of NACE, ASTM, ASME codes and practices.
- Level 2 or above in several NDT methods: VT, MT, PT, UT, RT, ET, RI.
- Valid certificates: OPITO Medical, BOSIET, MFC.
- RBA/RBI – In‑Service Assessment & Implementation.
- Inspection, corrosion engineering, process chemistry.
- Strong knowledge of standard & advanced NDT techniques.
- Anomaly assessment & prioritization.
- Risk assessment & risk management.
- Subcontractor management.
- Proficiency with IDMS & CMMS (supervisor level).
- Excellent technical English.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Minimum 10 years experience in asset integrity at senior level.
- At least 5 years FPSO experience within multi‑asset teams.
- Experience in Angola is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior, client‑facing role.
