We are seeking a talented Associate Engineering Lead on behalf of a global leader in the renewable energy sector.As an Associate Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing cutting-edge wind and photovoltaic (PV) power plants across the country. Collaborating with dynamic local and corporate teams, you will ensure that every stage of engineering—from preliminary designs to execution—aligns with the highest technical standards and delivers outstanding economic efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and collaborate actively in the development of engineering designs during all project phases, including preparation, basic engineering, executive projects, and tender documentation for wind, solar and battery energy storage projects. 
  • Oversee and validate the technical feasibility of engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with technical standards as well as project-specific requirements.
  • Support merger and acquisition activities by performing technical due diligence, including CapEx estimations, risk analysis, and preparation of detailed technical reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Challenge the applicability of technical standards where necessary and justify deviations to maintain technical and economic project viability.
  • Initiate and implement innovative engineering processes that enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and knowledge exchange between local engineering & construction teams and corporate departments to promote continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Provide specialized technical support in tender processes, assisting teams and procurement in negotiations to secure the best technical and economic outcomes.
  • Coordinate and validate key technical studies, such as foundation design, road infrastructure, noise assessments, and other critical analyses to minimize construction risks.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and providers to incorporate technically optimal and cost-effective solutions into engineering projects.
  • Represent the company professionally in interactions with public agencies and private institutions, safeguarding company interests within its jurisdictional scope.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in engineering project management and design development across pre-design, basic design, detailed engineering, and tender phases within renewable energy (wind and BESS preferred).
  • Strong ability to evaluate technical feasibility and ensure compliance with established engineering standards and client/project requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of conducting technical due diligence, CapEx estimation, risk assessments, and technical reporting.
  • Critical thinking skills for analyzing and justifying deviations from standards to enhance project outcomes.
  • Vendor and supplier management expertise focused on introducing efficient technical and economic solutions.
  • Proactive mindset with experience fostering innovation and improvements in engineering processes.
  • Awareness of occupational safety, environmental guidelines, and quality management systems as applied to engineering projects.
  • Previous involvement in M&A processes supporting strategic engineering evaluation and project acquisition.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams involving local and corporate collaboration.
