Job Description
Position Summary
This role is part of the Business Performance team within the Business Solutions department. The position focuses on the technical development and engineering of solutions that enable system, data, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy technical solutions that support land and well data, analytics, and reporting.
  • Execute development tasks with advanced technical proficiency, participate in technical reviews, and drive high‑quality outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions for business processes, systems, and data workflows.
  • Create and maintain technical requirement documentation to support solution delivery.
Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and effective interpersonal capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver on development milestones.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including solution design, data analysis, validation, and unit testing.
  • Experience with upstream Land and Well applications such as WellView, SiteView, CS Land, Execute, and StackDx.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in:
    • Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
    • Azure application development
    • Python scripting
    • Spotfire
Education & Experience
  • Post‑secondary education in computer science, petroleum, business analysis, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
