Overview A well-established international oil & gas operator is seeking an experienced Completion & Well Service Engineer to support offshore and office-based well activities in Thailand. This role focuses on well completion, well intervention, workover, and well integrity management across the full well lifecycle—from planning through execution and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present well completion design concepts based on subsurface data
- Prepare cost estimates for annual budgets and well/project-specific AFEs
- Forecast and manage long-lead items and critical equipment
- Maintain and update the company well and technical databases
- Prepare documentation for well insurers when required
- Participate in DWOP / CWOP / IWOP processes
- Ensure timely delivery of all completion-related engineering deliverables
- Support execution teams during well operations
- Prepare Well Completion Reports (WCR) and After Action Reviews (AAR)
- Ensure well barrier schematics are current and valid
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and risk assessments
- Review field tickets, service reports, and invoices
- Provide technical expertise for well intervention, workover, and production optimization
- Participate in production data analysis to identify anomalies and intervention opportunities
- Manage and ensure compliance with the well integrity management program
- Initiate and execute well intervention and workover programs, including:
- Basis of Well Intervention (BOWI)
- Technical feasibility studies
- Risk assessments and cost estimates
- Unit selection (slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, HWU, etc.)
- Tendering, procurement, and vendor coordination
- Supervision of execution and post-job reporting
- Supervise rig-less intervention and workover operations as required
- Maintain accurate inventory of well intervention and integrity equipment
- Coordinate logistics and interface with Supply Chain & Procurement teams
- Participate in integrated well reviews and production optimization workshops
- Contribute to Reservoir Management Plans and Field Development Plans
- Support new ventures, M&A reviews, and technical feasibility studies
- Review emerging well intervention and integrity technologies
- Coach and mentor junior engineers
- Ensure all activities comply with corporate HSE and operational standards
- Support preparation of HSE documentation
- Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment processes
- Attend pre-job planning meetings and safety reviews
- Support emergency response activities and incident investigations when required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
- Strong cross-disciplinary exposure in well engineering, petroleum engineering, and operations
- Available for offshore and wellsite assignments during completion and workover operations.
- Hands-on experience with well intervention and workover operations (slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, HWU)
- Experience in drilling and completion engineering across planning, execution, and post-job phases
- Experience with artificial lift systems, particularly ESP completions
- Proven ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Well-organized, structured, and deadline-driven
- Positive attitude with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge
- Experience working with mature or late-life assets preferred
