We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Melbourne-based team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of supplier agreements and new procurement requests, ensuring the efficient and effective purchase of goods and services across the business.
You will play a key role in delivering business value through strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance oversight—while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across procurement processes.
This is a senior-level position suited to someone with strong sourcing and commercial experience, capable of working autonomously while also providing guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of procurement agreements, including new requests and contract lifecycle activities
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes
- Ensure end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with internal policies and systems
- Maintain contracts, including scope updates, pricing adjustments, and amendments
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure contract compliance and utilisation
- Identify opportunities to drive cost savings, efficiency, and overall business value
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Leverage procurement tools and systems to enhance transactional efficiency
- Contribute to category strategy by providing market insights and supporting commercial decision-making
- Recommend and implement process improvements aligned with business risk
Key skills and experience include:
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management
- Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
- Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (PtP) processes and systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify value and cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (desirable)
- Strong focus on compliance, controls, and risk mitigation
- Work with a collaborative and high-performing team
