Title: Document Control Administrator II
Contract Duration: 4-6 months
Location: Victoria, TX 77905   Role is 100% onsite
Schedule: 40 hours weekly  9/80
Rate: $35-$40 /hr

Description:
The Document Control Administrator manages an organization’s documentation lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Use of numerous software packages, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Documentum and
  • Documentum D2, AutoCAD, Visio
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to complete assigned tasks independently with minimal instruction and have the initiative to obtain guidance on new assignments when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating, tracking and managing revisions to drawings and documents that are part of the Plant Record.
  • Performs Document Control functions within the Company’s current Document Management Systems (Documentum and SharePoint) and ability to adapt to and adopt developing systems.
  • Performs document quality assurance audits by properly reviewing and assessing incoming and outgoing documentation and helps identify gaps and opportunities to improve current documentation methods.
  • Maintains MOC tracking system and coordinates MOC and Project documentation updates to ensure timely MOC and Project closures.
  • Investigates and responds to corrective actions related to all Document Control functions.
  • Responsible for assigning new drawing numbers, loop numbers, and line numbers.
Years of experience required:
3-5 years of technical work experience in a plant environment.

Minimum Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
