I am currently supporting an excellent forward-thinking business that is focused on developing and operating large-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects, with a strong emphasis on clean power generation and supporting the transition to low-carbon energy systems.
Job Description:
This role will require the successful candidate to lead the design of primary electrical systems across a range of projects, while providing expert engineering guidance to support ongoing developments. This role is suited to a motivated and experienced engineer with a background in renewable energy projects.

Job Description:
This role will require the successful candidate to lead the design of primary electrical systems across a range of projects, while providing expert engineering guidance to support ongoing developments. This role is suited to a motivated and experienced engineer with a background in renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will assist within pre-delivery, delivery and construction stages of these projects
- Develop and maintain electrical system designs and specifications for projects, including review of design inputs from external contractors
- Act as the primary electrical lead and develop preliminary designs for wind and solar farm electrical infrastructure
- Support construction projects with professional engineering advice and support throughout the full cycle of construction
- Manage the detailed design of electrical works using internal resources and/or external consultants
- Provide technical advice across projects and internal teams
- Support business development through tender submissions
- Maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Registered or eligible for RPEQ or CPEng
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical engineering role within power generation or similar
- Strong capabilities in design, specifications, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (MS office, AutoCAD desirable)
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
