Position Overview
The Engineering Project Support role provides administrative, planning, and technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) for aero‑derivative gas turbine programs. You will contribute to effective project execution by assisting with schedule maintenance, resource planning, data accuracy, stakeholder coordination, and planning tool support. Your work will directly enhance project delivery, resource efficiency, and the overall quality of planning processes.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to project and resource planning within a PMO environment, supporting complex and exciting technical projects in the aero‑derivative gas turbine portfolio. You will work with diverse stakeholders, build valuable planning and coordination experience, and contribute to the success of high‑impact engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Resource Planning Support
- Provide administrative and technical support for project planning tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Support planning activities across project and program portfolios, including prioritization and resource allocation.
- Help maintain up‑to‑date project schedules and resource plans for project managers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve planning issues or data inconsistencies.
- Contribute to maintaining the integrity of project plans and ensuring priorities are clearly communicated.
- Develop, maintain, and track planning and resource metrics to support data‑driven decisions.
- Use metrics to improve planning quality, forecasting accuracy, and resource utilization.
- Provide training and develop user documentation, guides, and reference materials.
- Schedule meetings, take minutes, and track action items.
Experience & Knowledge
- 1–2 years of experience in planning, project management, or related support function or strong interest in building expertise in this field.
- Basic knowledge of gas turbine products or strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with planning tools such as MS Project or equivalent systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and quick to learn in a dynamic project setting.
- Bilingual in French and English.
