Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Role Overview The Field Service Engineer is responsible for leading on‑site service and project activities to ensure safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective execution in line with contractual requirements. The role supports installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and testing activities while maintaining strong customer relationships and strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and lead on‑site service activities during installation, construction, commissioning, start‑up, and maintenance phases.
• Complete service tasks within agreed scope, schedule, and working hours, ensuring no outstanding issues or punch lists.
• Prepare and submit timely project and service documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, service reports, test reports, COCs, timesheets, and expense claims.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and customer expectations.
• Identify potential service or improvement opportunities and communicate them internally.
• Apply safety rules and environmental practices at all times, conduct risk assessments, and complete required safety documentation (JHA, toolbox talks, permits, safety reports).
• Attend site and coordination meetings, maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams, and provide timely technical solutions without scope or cost impact.
• Ensure availability and proper use of tools, materials, parts, and equipment.
• Comply with all internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• 2–5 years of experience in field service, installation, commissioning, maintenance, or repair of electrical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including transformers and high‑voltage equipment.
• Experience with OEM environments is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license; BOSH and COSH certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites across the Philippines.
