We are seeking a Financial Analyst III to join a dynamic trading floor team within the oil & gas commodities sector. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience in risk analysis. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and have exposure to ETRM systems and commodity risk management.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and validate daily P&L and exposure reports across multiple commodities (crude oil, gasoline, distillates, fuel oil, renewables, NGLs).
- Perform P&L attribution and commentary, explaining market impacts and risk drivers.
- Validate trades, deals, market curves, and pricing inputs for accuracy.
- Collaborate with trading, scheduling, accounting, and risk teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Drive process improvements through automation and standardization of reporting.
- Support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide backup coverage and mentor junior analysts.
- Align mark-to-market P&L with GAAP standards for financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vLookup, hLookup).
- Experience with ETRM systems (RightAngle, Allegro, Endur, OpenLink).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; risk analysis experience in oil & gas commodities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Familiarity with Power BI; Python or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and explain complex concepts clearly.
