Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Financial Analyst– SMP with Saudi Aramco
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial consolidation, including joint venture, affiliates, and intercompany eliminations, as well as management defined performance measures (MDM), adjustments made to derive underlying earnings.
- Strong understanding and practical experience applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), particularly in consolidation joint ventures, and segment reporting.
- Experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, including preparation of management packs and board-level materials.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced excel along with PowerBI; experience with consolidation tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into financial insight.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally (operations, planning, commercial, Policies, etc.).
- High attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Collaborative, change-oriented team player with a passion for the energy business.
- Financial Reporting & Systems Excellence - Delivers accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal governance, serves as an SAP and financial systems expert, resolves complex reporting and system issues, and drives system integration and transformation initiatives to improve financial processes and organizational performance.
- Performance Metrics & Forward-Looking Analysis - Knowledgeable in analyzing financial KPIs (P&L, ROACE, capital efficiency), assessing strategic decisions' financial impact, and delivering executive-level performance insights and accountability reporting.
- Process Improvement & Transformation Leadership – Performs end-to-end finance process optimization, system integration, and transformation initiatives, ensuring enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and insight in financial operations. Champions automation, standardization, and control improvements while fostering cross-functional collaboration and maintaining robust governance and audit readiness.
