Step into a critical HV operations role supporting safe and efficient crusher operations at a major mining site. Use your switching expertise to manage isolations, permits, and high‑risk electrical activities. Bring your technical capability and safety‑first mindset to a fast‑paced environment where your skills make an immediate impact.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $1,400 per day
- Fortnightly pay through a modern online payroll system
- 3‑month initial contract with potential for extension
- 8/6 roster – Thursday to Thursday, 12‑hour days
- FIFO to site with quality camp facilities
- PPE provided
- Opportunity for ongoing work with a major mining operator
- Dedicated NES Fircroft Consultant & Support Team throughout your contract
- Invitations to NES Fircroft Contractor Events
- Access to additional contract opportunities through our extensive client network
- Experienced High Voltage Operator with nationally accredited HV switching certification
- Skilled in isolations, switching, and issuing HV access, test, and vicinity permits
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety‑driven approach
- Mining experience preferred
- Able to work effectively in a high‑risk, fast‑paced operational environment
- Support HV operations at a major crusher facility, focusing solely on HV tasks
- Perform HV switching, isolations, and permit writing/issuing from day one
- Manage HV access, test, and vicinity permits to ensure safe work execution
- Contribute to safe and reliable operations within a well‑structured team
