A major energy client seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Professional who will be responsible for supporting the site team during the construction phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in safety or related field, professional safety certification, construction site HSE and electrical safety experience, including in high voltage distribution environments.

A major energy client seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Professional who will be responsible for supporting the site team during the construction phase of the project. The ideal candidate will have a degree in safety or related field, professional safety certification, construction site HSE and electrical safety experience, including in high voltage distribution environments.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HSE contact for subcontractors, client teams, and project leadership.
- Review HSE plans, subcontractor qualifications, and support hazard identification and control.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations; drive corrective actions.
- Lead and document LOTO planning, procedure development, isolation verification, and compliance audits.
- Facilitate risk assessments (JHA/JSA, ALARP) and support continuous HSE improvement.
- Maintain required HSE records and prepare routine reports.
- Promote Company's core values, Life Saving Rules, and ESG initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HSE experience in construction or industrial settings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and technical writing skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience supporting matrixed teams.
- CSP, CIH, or similar certification.
- Construction HSE experience (civil, structural, commissioning).
- Electrical safety and high‑voltage distribution experience.
- Substation construction knowledge.
- Proficiency with digital HSE tools and LOTO documentation.
