As an Inspection Coordinator, you will play a key role in safeguarding compliance and quality across multiple stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of high-value projects within a regulated industrial environment.
Purpose of the Role
The Inspection Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing inspection activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inspection plans and schedules aligned with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Coordinate inspection activities with internal teams, third-party inspectors, suppliers, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including inspection reports, certificates, and non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
- Ensure inspection activities meet industry standards, company procedures, project requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Identify, record, and support the resolution of non‑conformances and quality-related issues.
- Provide regular updates to project management, quality teams, and other stakeholders on inspection status and outcomes.
- Monitor and support suppliers and contractors to ensure inspection and quality processes comply with project standards.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant inspection, quality, or compliance certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience in inspection coordination or quality assurance within the oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency with inspection management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
