Journeyman Electricians

 Role Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to support the construction, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems on large-scale energy and industrial projects. This role focuses on power distribution, instrumentation, controls, and equipment wiring across active construction sites in midstream and energy facilities.
You will work alongside mechanical, instrumentation, and controls teams to bring complex facilities online safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test power, control, and instrumentation wiring for industrial energy facilities
• Pull and route tray cable, conduit, and rigid conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC) per prints
• Wire MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, transformers, panels, and control cabinets
• Perform grounding, bonding, and earthing systems for energy facilities
• Install and terminate low-voltage and medium-voltage systems
• Work with PLC, DCS, and instrumentation wiring for compressors, pumps, and process equipment
• Read and interpret one-lines, schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs
• Support pre-commissioning, megger testing, and start-up activities
• Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, and site-specific safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, I&E supervisors, and QA/QC teams

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician
• Experience in oil & gas, midstream, power plants, compressor stations, or processing facilities
• Strong background in conduit bending, cable pulling, and panel terminations
• Ability to read and work from electrical prints and wiring diagrams
• Experience working on live construction sites with multiple trades

Preferred Experience

• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, and motor wiring
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control wiring
• Experience in EPC or large industrial construction projects
• NCCER, Journeyman License, or equivalent certification

Work Environment

• Industrial construction sites (outdoor and indoor)
• Physically demanding: lifting, climbing, working at heights, hot and cold environments
• Travel may be required depending on project location
