Legal Counsel – Offshore Energy Rotterdam, Netherlands
Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 remote
NES Fircroft is supporting a global offshore energy and ocean-infrastructure company in the hire of a Legal Counsel for its Rotterdam office.
This is a project-facing role, working closely with commercial and project teams to provide practical legal advice across the bid, execution, and operations phases of major offshore energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
- Provide legal advice to business and project teams
- Support offshore energy projects from early engagement through delivery
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage external counsel and legal stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risk
- LL.B or LL.M, admitted to the bar in a relevant jurisdiction
- 3–8 years’ legal experience, ideally within offshore energy, oil & gas, renewables, or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of international contract law
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Commercial, pragmatic approach
- Long-term contract potential
- Hybrid working in Rotterdam
- Exposure to large, complex international offshore projects
