Logistics Coordinator – Oil & Gas Projects

Purpose of the Role As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting complex projects by managing the transportation of goods and equipment essential to our operations. You will ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective logistics solutions while acting as a central point of coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and transport partners.
This role is ideal for a proactive logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and enjoys solving operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
  • Plan, execute, and oversee end-to-end logistics activities in line with project and operational needs
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure smooth material flows
Transportation Management
  • Arrange and optimize transportation modes (road, sea, air) to meet delivery schedules and cost targets
  • Monitor shipments and anticipate potential delays or risks
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers to secure on-time delivery
  • Support contract negotiations and resolve logistical issues efficiently
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with regulatory and project requirements
Communication & Reporting
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Update forecasted vs. actual delivery dates in the ERP system and provide regular progress reports
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Proactively identify and resolve logistics challenges
  • Contribute to efficiency improvements and best practices across logistics operations
Education & Experience Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
Experience
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, ideally within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial projects sector
  • Strong knowledge of transportation modes, shipping procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a project-driven environment
