Our clients container terminal subdivision is looking for a Maintenance Technician.

Our clients subdivision is a global provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 50,000 tank containers, they're the only operator with its own global network of 22 own and joint depots.

What will you do?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the operation of the wastewater treatment and tank cleaning plant at our tank container depot. Under the guidance of the Lead Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the technical and technological functionality of the installations by independently solving malfunctions and carrying out maintenance programs.

You will work with a structured approach, and training will be offered to ensure that the installations continue to operate reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities
• Performing measurements, technical maintenance, and operating the wastewater treatment and tank cleaning plant, both locally and remotely via PC.
• Working within the breakdown service to solve technical malfunctions quickly and efficiently.
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on the technical installations of the depot.
• Taking care of daily sampling, internal/external analyses and reporting deviations within the standards.
• (Co-)drawing up and implementing maintenance programs to ensure that the installations function optimally.

Requirements
• MBO 4 working and thinking level.
• Affinity with both process engineering and chemical processes or are interested in developing in that direction.
• Preferably experience in the field of first-line maintenance of pumps/valves and common measuring and control equipment.
• Team player who is responsible, solution-oriented and structured.
• Flexibly available, including on-call services outside regular working hours.
