NES Fircroft are currently supporting our valued client, a diverse global engineering and construction company, who are looking for two Operations Engineers to join their Perth Office on a 12-month fixed term contract.
About the Project:
Jansz-Io field (part of Greater Gorgon Development) is located 130 kilometres off the west coast of Barrow Island, Western Australia. The field is connected to a gas processing facility on Barrow Island by subsea and cross island pipelines and umbilicals. The field is located at 1,350m water depth.
The Jansz-Io project offshore development consists of installation of a subsea compression facility powered by a high voltage submarine cable which runs from Barrow Island to a floating field control platform. Medium voltage power umbilicals connect the floating control platform to a subsea compression station. The subsea compression station receives produced gas from the existing Janz subsea system via subsea spools and a subsea compression manifold. The compressed gas is discharged back into the existing pipeline for transfer to Barrow Island.
Our client has been awarded the Offshore Installation Contract by Chevron Australia for the transportation and installation activities of the Jansz Io development.
