Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Process/Refinery Operator to oversee and manage complex production operations within a large-scale industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refining processes and operational safety standards, ensuring smooth and efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of operational procedures, production policies, and safety protocols to ensure continuous and safe processing.
  • Interpret and follow detailed process documentation and operational reports accurately.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize productivity.
  • Operate and control a variety of process units and systems, including tanks, mixers, heat exchangers, pumps, furnaces, and vacuum systems.
  • Manage product flow through manual and automated valves, meters, and transfer systems.
  • Record operational data from control panels and maintain accurate logs.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on plant equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Uphold housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Drive as part of routine operational duties.
Skills & Competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial processing techniques, including distillation and related methods.
  • Strong understanding of machinery operation and safety requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
  • Sound decision-making skills and ability to work under challenging conditions.
  • Comfortable working in high-temperature environments and wearing full PPE (coveralls, protective footwear, hard hats, respirators, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production or process operations within an industrial setting.
