Step into a key role delivering cutting-edge piping and plant design for a landmark greenfield mining project in Queensland. As a Piping Engineer, you’ll drive system optimisation, ensure code compliance, and lead multi-disciplinary collaboration on a complex, high-impact EPC project.
Skills you'll need to succeed:
- Expertise in Piping Stress Analysis with CAESAR II and pipe support selection including strong knowledge of piping installation, hydrotesting, and pneumatic testing
- Proven ability to interpret and apply international and Australian codes
- Skilled in facility layout optimisation using P&IDs and operational requirements
- Experience reviewing design documents, specs, and change orders utilising engineering software tools like TEAMWorks, Aconex, Unifier, Agile, and Navisworks
- Proficient in multi-discipline interface management and 3D model oversight
- Solid background in engineering materials and drawing interpretation
- Leadership experience in design and drafting roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 8–10 years’ relevant piping engineering experience (or 12–14 years with alternative qualifications)
- Background in EPC projects within mining or heavy industry
