🔍 Position Overview
The Estimator will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating cost estimates for Aramco refinery and petrochemical projects. The role ensures compliance with Aramco Estimating Standards, project specifications, and AACE guidelines. The Estimator will support FEED, EPC, and construction phases and coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Estimation & Development
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Concept, FEED, EPC, and Construction phases.
- Develop Class 1–5 estimates in accordance with AACE and Aramco Estimating Procedures.
- Perform quantity take‑offs (MTO) from engineering drawings and deliverables.
- Prepare cost breakdowns for civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities.
- Analyze labor productivity, construction methods, and cost drivers.
2. Aramco Standards Compliance
- Ensure estimates comply with project requirements.
- Review contractor estimates and validate alignment with Aramco norms and unit rates.
- Support internal and external estimate reviews, audits, and technical clarifications.
3. Tendering & Bid Evaluation
- Prepare cost inputs for ITB packages and tender submissions.
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
- Support bid tabulation, cost comparison, and negotiation support.
4. Cost Benchmarking & Database Management
- Maintain historical cost data and unit rate databases for refinery and petrochemical projects.
- Track market trends for materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Develop cost models and benchmarking tools for future estimates.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls teams.
- Prepare estimate reports, cost summaries, and management presentations.
- Support risk analysis, contingency development, and value engineering studies.

📚 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Finance, Cost or related).
- 15+ years of EPC estimating experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects.
- Experience with Aramco projects strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Cleopatra, Excel, etc.).
- Strong understanding of EPC cost structures, MTO development, and construction methods.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
