Procurement Engineer – CCS Project

Location: Padeswood, Wales
Contract: Outside IR35
Duration: 12‑month renewable contract (potential through 2029)

Overview
Supporting the CCS programme’s engineered equipment and construction packages, the Procurement Engineer will manage sourcing, tendering, technical queries, and vendor delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop RFQs, manage tenders, and support bid evaluations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and align with NEC/OEM contract frameworks.
  • Coordinate with engineering on specs, changes, and documentation.
  • Oversee expediting, FATs, and on-time equipment delivery.
  • Track procurement schedules and supplier performance.

Requirements
  • Procurement/supply chain experience on industrial/process or energy projects.
  • Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and engineering specs.
  • Vendor management and expediting experience.
  • CIPS/engineering background beneficial.
  • UK Right to Work; site and supplier travel required.
