Procurement Engineer – CCS Project
Location: Padeswood, Wales
Contract: Outside IR35
Duration: 12‑month renewable contract (potential through 2029)
Overview
Supporting the CCS programme’s engineered equipment and construction packages, the Procurement Engineer will manage sourcing, tendering, technical queries, and vendor delivery.

Overview
Supporting the CCS programme’s engineered equipment and construction packages, the Procurement Engineer will manage sourcing, tendering, technical queries, and vendor delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop RFQs, manage tenders, and support bid evaluations.
- Negotiate with suppliers and align with NEC/OEM contract frameworks.
- Coordinate with engineering on specs, changes, and documentation.
- Oversee expediting, FATs, and on-time equipment delivery.
- Track procurement schedules and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Procurement/supply chain experience on industrial/process or energy projects.
- Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, and engineering specs.
- Vendor management and expediting experience.
- CIPS/engineering background beneficial.
- UK Right to Work; site and supplier travel required.
