Procurement Specialist (Buyer)
Role Overview
This role supports regional and corporate operations by managing the procurement and sourcing of goods and services. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the position focuses on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and strong supplier relationships while adhering to established sourcing policies and commercial standards.

Role Overview
This role supports regional and corporate operations by managing the procurement and sourcing of goods and services. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, the position focuses on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and strong supplier relationships while adhering to established sourcing policies and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from qualified suppliers
- Create, place, and follow up on purchase orders and oversee execution
- Monitor delivery timelines to ensure on-time availability of goods and services
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to manage performance and resolve issues
- Support contract negotiation, renewals, and commercial discussions
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in procurement processes and propose improvements
- Build and manage supplier relationships, including KPI monitoring and risk assessment
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and analyze procurement data
- Handle supplier performance reporting and non-conformity cases
- Process supplier invoices and manage corrections when required
- Prepare cost comparisons and value assessments to support purchasing decisions
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or buying
- Experience within energy, oil & gas, engineering, or technology-driven industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; technical background is an advantage
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Basic experience or training in contract and agreement templates
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is essential
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to decision-making
- Full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday, standard office hours)
- Initial one-year contract with the intention to extend to a long-term role after successful performance
- Office-based role in the Eindhoven region, Netherlands
