Full Job Description 

Purpose
As Project HSSE Lead for the assigned locations, you will be responsible for ensuring that employees, contractors, and visitors on construction sites work safely, securely, and in an environmentally responsible manner. You will ensure compliance with all company requirements, regulatory obligations, and client standards, while helping to promote a strong and positive safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Implement, update, review, and audit the Company HSSE Management System.
  • Ensure effective application of HSSE procedures and update them according to legislation and Company directives.
  • Drive motivation and awareness among personnel regarding safety rules and proper use of protective equipment.
  • Support Commercial, Engineering, and Operations teams in HSSE-related matters.
  • Conduct both internal and external safety audits.
  • Participate in incident and accident investigations.
  • Analyze incident statistics, identify trends, and recommend improvement plans.
  • Provide technical HSSE support to Senior Management.
  • Deliver in-house HSSE training.
  • Perform safety audits on subcontractors.
  • Interact with Clients on HSSE-related topics.
  • Provide HSSE input for new projects and modification programs.
  • Participate in HAZOP and HAZID meetings prior to procurement, installation, and construction activities.
  • Perform Risk Assessments.
  • Prepare HSSE documentation for tenders.
  • Support the preparation of plans and procedures for project start-up.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent, plus professional HSSE certifications.
  • 8+ years’ experience in HSSE in the Oil & Gas sector, including at least 5 years in Offshore Hook-Up & Commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSE Management Systems, ICS, Tripod Beta, auditing techniques, HEMP, radiological safety, industrial hygiene, explosion indices, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
