Seeking an experienced Project Lead / Execution Manager to drive the planning, approval, and execution of operational infrastructure and asset improvement initiatives.
This role will suit a practical, delivery-focused professional who can take ownership of projects from scoping and business case development through to site execution. You will operate in a fast-paced mining environment, working closely with maintenance, engineering, and operational stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and commercially sound outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, capital justification experience, and on-the-ground execution capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from scoping through to implementation and close-out.
- Develop detailed scopes of work aligned to operational requirements.
- Prepare capital expenditure submissions and robust business cases.
- Manage approved capital and operational (opex) works through execution.
- Coordinate internal technical teams and external contractors.
- Oversee procurement, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with safety, compliance, and site standards.
- Provide structured reporting to senior site leadership.
- Maintain strong engagement with operations to minimise disruption and maximise value.
- Demonstrated project delivery experience within mining, heavy industry, resources, or similar asset-intensive environments.
- Proven experience managing site-based infrastructure, mechanical, or asset-related works.
- Strong mechanical background highly preferred (trade or engineering level).
- Experience preparing and presenting capital submissions and business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both capex and opex projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contractors in an operational environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management, budgeting, and project controls
