We are currently seeking an experienced Project Lead to join a large Mining company on a 12-month contract, delivering a portfolio of underground mining projects.
This position is Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will lead multiple small-scale capital projects from concept through to execution. A strong focus of this role is on studies, feasibility development, business case preparation, and tollgate reporting, ensuring projects are thoroughly assessed and aligned with governance requirements before delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable engineer who enjoys working across diverse projects and managing the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver multiple concurrent underground mining projects
- Develop feasibility studies and technical assessments
- Prepare and manage business cases through tollgate processes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk
- Provide clear reporting and governance documentation
- Ensure projects meet safety and operational standards
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining or similar
- Demonstrated experience in studies and feasibility development
- Experience delivering capital projects within mining environments
- Strong commercial acumen and reporting capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
