The Project Manager Internal 1 supports external Project Managers by helping clarify customer requirements, developing technical specifications, creating project timelines, and monitoring execution. This role is responsible for coordinating resources, tracking progress, ensuring milestone achievement, managing documentation, and supporting negotiations with suppliers and vendors. The position oversees several small-scale internal or regional projects with low financial complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager External during the RFP and proposal stages by clarifying technical requirements and customer specifications
  • Develop technical specifications, project timelines, milestones, and budget requirements
  • Coordinate project resources across internal teams and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Monitor progress against plan and ensure all milestones and technical objectives are achieved
  • Contribute to supplier and vendor negotiations
  • Track and support adherence to project budgets while minimizing non-conformance costs
  • Validate project results, design test procedures, and monitor test outcomes
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all project results, processes, and delivered technologies
  • Facilitate execution of solution plans for defined sub-projects or programs
  • Guide technical or administrative team members as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements within the project management function
Role Scope and Impact
  • Supports small to medium process improvement projects
  • Handles multiple small projects with low financial risk and budgets below 1M EUR annually
  • Acts as a functional resource across various project stages
  • Maintains primarily internal organizational interactions with some external communication depending on project scope
Qualifications Required

  • 1 to 3 years of project management experience, ideally within a technical or engineering environment
  • Solid professional knowledge in a relevant technical sub-discipline, supported by hands-on experience
  • Ability to apply and further develop theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to improve processes and support team success
Work Schedule
  • Shift: 1
  • Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
  • Weekly hours: 40
