Our client a global leader in deepwater ocean infrastructure and floating production solutions, is currently looking to recruit a Project Procurement Lead to join their team based in Rotterdam.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex offshore energy projects, supporting procurement and supply chain activities across key equipment packages.
The Role As Project Procurement Lead, you will oversee procurement activities for specific project packages, ensuring equipment and materials are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The role focuses on tactical project procurement, working closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders and supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies based on project requirements and lessons learned.
- Define and manage tendering strategies in collaboration with Buyers and Category Managers.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure strong collaboration throughout project execution.
- Oversee purchase order execution, ensuring supplier activities align with project schedules and priorities.
- Monitor supply chain progress and proactively address risks related to cost, quality, or schedule.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Procurement Manager on package progress.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing procurement packages on complex projects within offshore, oil & gas, or subsea environments.
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
- Experience managing technical equipment procurement, ideally including valves or mechanical packages.
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar) to manage procurement processes.
- Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, project and supply chain teams.
