Project Procurement Lead Role Purpose As Project Procurement Lead, you play a critical role in delivering complex projects by overseeing procurement and supply chain activities for dedicated packages. You ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of equipment and materials in line with project objectives. Acting as a key interface between suppliers, engineering, and project teams, you drive procurement strategies, lead negotiations, manage risk, and ensure smooth execution across the entire supply chain lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, lessons learned, and input from Category Managers.
- Define and execute tendering strategies for assigned Purchase Requests in collaboration with Buyers and Category Managers.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, coordinating internal stakeholders to secure optimal contractual outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships to promote collaboration, resolve issues proactively, and continuously improve supplier performance.
- Act as the primary interface with vendors during Purchase Order execution, ensuring alignment with project priorities.
- Monitor Purchase Order execution closely and raise early alerts on potential risks related to schedule, cost, quality, or contractual compliance.
- Track supply chain schedules and ensure procurement activities support overall project milestones.
- Report regularly to the Project Procurement Manager throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide continuous feedback to Category Managers on vendor performance and escalate issues involving strategic suppliers or categories as required.
- Drive supply chain improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term project objectives.
- Apply lessons learned to strengthen procurement processes across future projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing procurement and supply chain packages for complex projects, including onshore, offshore, or subsea equipment.
- Strong contract management and negotiation experience, particularly with high-value, technically complex contracts.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools to track procurement activities and schedules.
- Solid understanding of oil & gas industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance expectations.
- Demonstrated project management capability, with a strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver under pressure.
