QC Inspector (Mechanical)
Project: Major FPU (Floating Production Unit) Modification & Commissioning
Location: Filyos Base, Türkiye
Contract Length: 12 Months
Rotation: 6 Weeks On / 3 Weeks Off
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector to support the modification, installation, and commissioning of a large Floating Production Unit. The role is based at Filyos Base and involves quality oversight of mechanical systems, piping, and equipment during module integration and pre-commissioning activities.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector to support the modification, installation, and commissioning of a large Floating Production Unit. The role is based at Filyos Base and involves quality oversight of mechanical systems, piping, and equipment during module integration and pre-commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on mechanical works including piping, rotating/static equipment, and module installations
- Verify work against approved ITPs, project specifications, and industry standards
- Witness mechanical testing such as hydrotests, torqueing, alignment checks, FAT/SAT
- Review contractor QC documentation and report non-conformances
- Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and support mechanical completion
- Maintain strong HSE and quality culture across all site activities
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector on FPSO, offshore, refinery, or EPC projects
- Strong understanding of ASME/API/ISO mechanical standards
- Experience with piping systems, rotating/static equipment, and fabrication yard activities
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and mechanical layouts
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- English required; Turkish beneficial
- Working Hours: 7 days per week, 12 hours per day
- Rotation: 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off
