Quality Control Engineer - Chemical and Gas

Our client is a leading innovator in the chemical and industrial gas sector, committed to delivering high-quality solutions that power industries and improve lives. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence, we are expanding our team to include a dedicated Quality Control Engineer who will help them to maintain and elevate our standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and safety teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
• Perform internal audits and support external audits and inspections.
• Analyse quality data and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within the chemical, gas, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and other quality management systems.
• Proficient in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and Minitab.
• Excellent analytic, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Experience with regulatory compliance in hazardous materials or gas handling.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and digital quality management platforms.
