Job Title: Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing Specialist I)
Location: Liberty, MO
Schedule: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Work Environment: Workshop
Contract Length: 12 months
Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all fabricated and machined components meet engineering drawings, work orders, and customer specifications. The role supports incoming, in‑process, and final inspections and maintains quality records in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.

Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all fabricated and machined components meet engineering drawings, work orders, and customer specifications. The role supports incoming, in‑process, and final inspections and maintains quality records in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspection of all purchased parts.
- Conduct first‑article and in‑process inspections for CNC‑produced components.
- Complete final inspection prior to packaging and shipment.
- Document non‑conforming parts, route them appropriately, and maintain records.
- Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Track, log, and enter inspection data into ERP systems.
- Develop and update non‑conformance trend charts.
- Perform additional QC tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years QC‑related experience or equivalent.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Intermediate math and reading skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and basic QC tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk regularly, and wear PPE.
- Vision: 20/30 acuity and ability to read Jaeger No. 2 at 16".
