A short‑term opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to provide contract management leadership on a major brownfield expansion project. This client‑side position is responsible for overseeing the execution of Civil, SMP, and Electrical/Instrumentation subcontract packages, ensuring robust commercial governance and consistently high contractor performance.

This client‑side position is responsible for overseeing the execution of Civil, SMP, and Electrical/Instrumentation subcontract packages, ensuring robust commercial governance and consistently high contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage execution of subcontract packages, ensuring full contractual and commercial compliance.
- Oversee variations, formal change processes, and EOT claim assessments.
- Monitor contractor performance and verify costs and claims.
- Liaise daily with site teams to confirm hours, scope alignment, and supporting documentation.
- Identify commercial and schedule risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to development and delivery of the Contract Management Plan.
- Prepare and issue contractual correspondence, notices, and amendments.
- Partner with finance and cost control to ensure accurate cost reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain strong safety focus and ensure contractor compliance with HSE requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in brownfield, chemicals, oil & gas, or mining environments.
- Strong capability in contract administration within SMP and EI disciplines.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong understanding of reimbursable (cost-plus) contract models.
- Proven ability to analyse, negotiate, and resolve contractual claims and disputes.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in commercial, procurement, or project management (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work practices.
