I am currently supporting a global company who is a leader in power technology and electrification solutions. The business operates as one of the largest providers of energy infrastructure, systems, and services across utilities, renewables, mining, transport and industrial sectors in Australia.

In this role, you will head the Engineering function across all Power Quality opportunities and projects, serving as the technical and application authority for both project delivery and tendering activities within the Operating Unit’s market offerings. You will provide leadership in technology selection and implementation, ensuring engineering excellence from bid phase through execution.

Job Description:
In this role, you will head the Engineering function across all Power Quality opportunities and projects, serving as the technical and application authority for both project delivery and tendering activities within the Operating Unit’s market offerings. You will provide leadership in technology selection and implementation, ensuring engineering excellence from bid phase through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide specialist technology and industry knowledge to enhance credibility with external clientele
- Carry out technical support to Project Managers, collaborate on project instillation, commissioning, specific site activities, and provide solutions to correct engineering errors
- Represent the organisation to the best of your ability, ensuring that the businesses core values are being always carried out
- Taking responsibility for your own actions and having a duty of care for your colleagues and the business to maintain the highest standards
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internally regulations, procedures and guidelines.
- Registered or eligible for RPEQ or CPEng
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
- Appropriate experience in the HV industry
- 10+ years of professional engineering experience in Australia
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient in English communication.
- Salary up to $150,000 + Superannuation
