NES Fircroft are exclusively recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer to support a Major Tanami project, for one of Australia’s most significant gold operations. You’ll lead the electrical delivery of a major leach tank construction package, with over $200 million in expansion and brownfields upgrade work in the pipeline.

Benefits:
- Rate: $1600 per day (inclusive of super)
- Roster: 2/2 – 12 hour days
- Contract: 12 months + strong likelihood of extension to Dec 2027/2028
- Location: Tanami – multiple flight departure points
- Extras: Fortnightly pay, EAP support, dedicated NES Fircroft consultant, work with a major gold producer
- Lead electrical construction, installation and commissioning for leach tanks, agitators, instrumentation, MCCs, and process services
- Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant construction delivery
- Manage energisation, pre commissioning, fault finding, and systems integration
- Work closely with engineering, controls, and operations teams to bring new assets online
- Support a continuous program of large-scale capital works
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
- Experience in mining, gold, or complex minerals processing plants - Contractor side experience or Client Side owners experience
- Strong electrical construction & commissioning background (brownfields or greenfields)
- Full Lifecycle project experience as Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager
- Knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards, HV/LV networks, and process plant instrumentation
- Live in Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs, or Brisbane, or be willing to fly from these locations
