Join our client as a Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer 20888 and play a pivotal role in designing innovative, reliable, and sustainable mechanical solutions for deepwater marine environments. Your expertise will drive the success of complex projects, ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence while working alongside industry pioneers transforming ocean infrastructure.
 
Required Skills:
  • Proven expertise in mechanical package engineering, specifically within Brownfield projects
  • Strong command of international codes, company policies, and industry standards governing mechanical design
  • Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools, including mechanical static equipment and detailed design
  • Solid knowledge of systems engineering principles, inspection, testing, commissioning, and monitoring processes
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties to meet contractual obligations
  • Demonstrated ability in planning, executing, and delivering work within timeframes and budgets
  • Capability to lead and mentor junior engineers, potentially acting as a Discipline Lead
  • Deep understanding of reliability, operability, and safety considerations in design and execution
 Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with deepwater offshore or marine projects
  • Previous involvement in package engineering from design through procurement and manufacturing
  • Familiarity with change management and incorporating lessons learned across project systems
  • Strong analytical skills in reliability and operational safety assessment
 Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Engineer Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally with a focus on offshore projects
