Position: Senior Metering Engineer (Operations Expansion & Start-Up)

Contract :- Initial 2‑year contract, Possibility of extension
Work Schedule :- 8–10 hours per day
Rotation :- 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Metering Engineer to lead the development and implementation of metering engineering strategies for Operations Expansion & Start-Up (OES) projects. This role provides high-level technical expertise on metering equipment, instrumentation integrity, calibration, testing, and compliance to ensure accurate, reliable, and safe operational start-ups.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive metering plans for OES projects according to industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed metering engineering specifications and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- Coordinate installation, calibration, and testing of metering equipment to guarantee accuracy and system integrity.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance checks for all metering systems.
- Provide technical expertise in assessing flow measurement systems, instrumentation, and integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure equipment quality and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare technical scopes, contribute to tender evaluations, and support budget preparation and audits.
- Interface with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Lead risk assessments focusing on reliability, safety, and environmental considerations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to metering methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, process, or power plants.
- At least 4 years of specialized experience in flow measurement and metering.
- Competent in software tools such as Kelton flow calculation, S600 flow computer applications, etc.
- Awareness of ISO standards for flow measurement.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel, and relevant metering software.
- Knowledgeable in Meridium or similar data management tools.
