Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
  • Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
  • Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
  • Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders.
  • Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
  • Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject (SCM, procurement, logistics or engineering), or relevant experience to compensate.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience. 
  • Strong commercial mindset.
  • Professional, independent and team player. Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Flexible, Open and Responsible.
  • Works in a structured and efficient manner, according to applicable guidelines.
