Site HSE Advisor – Contract Opportunity (Anonymous Posting) Location: Teesside Contract: 7 months, full time, Outside IR35 Start: ASAP
A major energy project is seeking an experienced Site HSE Advisor to support HSE performance across engineering and development phases of large‑scale EPIC works, including carbon capture initiatives.
Role Overview Reporting to the Field HSE Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site safety management system.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving strong HSE culture through workforce engagement and training
- Conducting site inspections, monitoring subcontractor performance, and ensuring equipment compliance
- Leading and reviewing risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses, and safe work practices
- Managing Permit to Work systems and hazardous materials controls
- Tracking and reporting HSE performance metrics and supporting incident investigations
- Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability across site activities
- Qualification in HSE or an engineering‑related discipline
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong IMCA and IOGP experience is essential
- Several years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector, including onshore construction projects
- Background in construction design regulation, management, and survey/investigation activities
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
- 7‑month contractor position
- Outside IR35
- Based in Teesside
- Immediate start available
