Step into a pivotal role as a Systems Engineer where your expertise will drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge Information Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Based in Grangemouth, you will be the technical linchpin connecting production workflows from top to bottom, ensuring seamless automation across multiple business units.

This opportunity offers a 36-hour workweek and a competitive PAYE rate.

Required Skills
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Proficiency in C# and HTML for developing custom applications and web interfaces
  • Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices
  • Ability to deliver technical support and training to end-users on system functionalities
  • Commitment to following safe systems of work and upholding the highest HSEQ standards
Nice to Have Skills
  • Familiarity with AVEVA System Platform or similar manufacturing automation products
  • Experience integrating AI techniques to develop or enhance code
  • Knowledge of Java to further extend system functionality and interfaces
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven track record in systems engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Prior experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems or related automation technologies
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work on-site at the Grangemouth location for the duration of the contract
  • Flexibility to collaborate across multiple business units and support diverse user groups
