Job Summary-
The client is the asset duty holder for Western Isles FPSO.  The FPSO is currently hydrocarbon free and stacked in Scapa Flow, Orkney.

The WI Team Lead will ensure that asset activities are assessed, planned and effectively managed to ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment availability and reliability are maintained.

Support offshore maintenance, preservation and inspection by ensuring that onshore resources identify correct priorities and are closely and clearly aligned with area business plans/operational requirements.

Focal point for supporting the marketing and sale of the asset from a technical perspective.  

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Leading the Western Isles onshore and offshore team on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsible for asset budgets and control of associated costs, supported by OIM for offshore budgets.
  • Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Responsible for effective and successful management of the Asset transition plans.
  • Develop an onshore and offshore staffing strategy, ensuring alignment with existing staffing philosophies, and implement changes.
  • Responsible for the implementation of a training and competency plan for the offshore workforce to ensure competency of core crew whilst containing spend
  • In conjunction with offshore team, accountable for recruitment and selection of offshore staff and selection of key contractors
  • Responsible for managing the emergency response plan and associated systems, and ensuring it remains fit for purpose
  • Overview of key design deliverables to ensure facilities meet operational requirements
  • Participate in HAZOPS and HAZIDS as required
  • Input into the development and ongoing maintenance as required of the operations standards, procedures and work processes for operations
  • Responsible for ensuring operations input to the contracting strategy for asset operations
  • Responsible for planning activities with key internal and external interfaces. 
  • Make regular trips offshore to enhance communication and promote understanding of the field plan/annual goals.
  • Maintains close liaison with Commercial Department to ensure compliance with all commercial agreements/JOA.     
  • Leads the technical aspects of the marketing and sale of the FPSO.
  • Compiling relevant data and making any required amendments for a data room for potential buyers
  • Support to and preparation of delivery of a Management Presentation to potential buyers and leading visits to the FPSO
  • Dealing with Q&A received from interested parties
  • Input to commercial negotiations (in context of ensuring for instance that things we are promising to deliver from a technical standpoint can be delivered, and how/timeline).
  • On execution of an SPA, act as a focal point for provision of data/procedures to buyer, and deliver on handover milestones, ensuring compliance with SPA terms.
  • Define the cold stack and management of change requirements
