Location: Stavanger, Oslo
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Be in midst of the day-to-day action, serving quality data for the Exploration and Operations part of the client's business
- Actively be involved in improvements and parts of the transformational agenda
- Assist in improving common communication channels and procedures for information sharing and collaboration
- Work with training material and user experience to improve software adoption in the organization
- Support internal tasks mainly related to Exploration and Operations, such as geospatial data management and chart production for offshore activity
- Engage in updating and setting standards, policies, and processes
- Partner with data consumers and stakeholders from other business units to understand and define relevant use cases
- Contact point towards relevant service providers
Qualifications:
- Master's or bachelor's degree within Geospatial/GIS (industrial and subject matter experience may compensate for missing formal background)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in managing, analyzing and visualizing geospatial data
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS, specifically ArcGIS Pro, and thriving in a dynamic environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Digital change implementation/execution experience
- Oil & Gas Industry Experience is an advantage
- High level of proficiency in Norwegian or English, verbal and written
