Job Title: Turnaround Scheduler 
Location
  • Calgary, AB OR Fort St. John, BC
  • Must be willing to work onsite during Turnaround (TA) in 2027
Schedule & Work Arrangement
  • Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day (Planning)
  • 24/4 during TA Execution or as required by the company
  • Onsite requirement during TA: approximately 30 days
  • Contract Duration: ~May 2026 – May 2027 (potential for extensions)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Turnaround Scheduler with strong Primavera P6 expertise and working cost control experience to support upcoming turnaround and long-range planning activities. This role will be predominantly scheduling-focused in the near term, with increasing involvement in cost control activities leading into and during Turnarounds.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical TA scheduling experience, understands TA execution, and can support basic cost tracking using Excel. While this is a combined role, there is flexibility to separate scheduling and cost control responsibilities if required. Key Responsibilities
Scheduling (Primary Focus)
  • Develop, maintain, and update Turnaround schedules using Primavera P6
  • Support mechanical turnaround planning and execution
  • Manage schedule updates, progress tracking, and reporting
  • Work closely with planners, execution teams, and leadership during TA
  • Support long-term TA planning leading up to execution

Cost Control (Secondary Focus)
  • Support cost tracking and reporting during Turnarounds
  • Manage daily time tickets during TA execution
  • Use Excel exclusively for cost tracking and reporting
  • Assist with long-term cost control activities outside of TA windows
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Turnaround Scheduler (TA experience is mandatory)
  • Strong Primavera P6 scheduling expertise
  • Mechanical turnaround experience (required)
  • Journeyman Trade ticket preferred
  • Working knowledge of cost control principles  within Turnarounds
  • Advanced Excel skills for cost tracking and reporting
  • Ability to work onsite during TA execution
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
