Reporting to the Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will support the day-to-day operations of site supply and logistics activities in line with team priorities. This role is responsible for executing core warehousing tasks including loading and unloading, freight processing, receipting, issuing, storage, handling, packaging, and dispatch of goods in a safe and timely manner. A strong focus on workplace health and safety, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency is essential.
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering efficient logistics services while maintaining high safety standards, ensuring compliance with site procedures, and supporting internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will support the day-to-day operations of site supply and logistics activities in line with team priorities. This role is responsible for executing core warehousing tasks including loading and unloading, freight processing, receipting, issuing, storage, handling, packaging, and dispatch of goods in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation and site procedures
- Maintain accurate stock control using warehouse management systems
- Ensure inventory integrity through accurate receipt, storage, transfer, and dispatch of goods
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain correct inventory levels
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and transport providers
- Complete all assigned tasks safely and within required timeframes
- Perform loading and unloading activities in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Identify and report non-compliance issues and support corrective actions
- Ensure safe, accurate, and cost-effective handling and dispatch of goods
- Maintain records for storage and transport of hazardous materials where applicable
- 3+ years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain roles (oil & gas, mining, transport, or similar industries preferred)
- LF Forklift Licence
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems and transport booking software (SAP advantageous)
- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
