Title: Inventory Analyst & Warehouse Technician 
Level: Senior
Start Date:  ASAP
Contract Term: 6 Months - possibility for extension
Location: South Bow Warehouse in Acheson, AB
Overview:
The Warehouse & Inventory Specialist is responsible for coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations and inventory management. This role supports daily material handling, system transactions, inventory planning, and analytical functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable material availability across the organization. The position also plays a key role in financial reporting, repairable asset tracking, and leading inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Process all inventory parts requests accurately and efficiently
  • Post Work Order (WO) Item Journals in the inventory management system
  • Perform all goods receipts for incoming inventory materials
  • Support project staging by organizing, preparing, and issuing required materials
  • Complete audits, cycle counts, and full physical inventory counts
  • Manage and process inventory returns, including capital project returns
  • Respond to on‑call and after‑hours material requests when required
  • Assist with other warehouse-related tasks as assigned
Inventory Management & Analytics
  • Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to order replenishment materials
  • Review and approve new inventory stock requests
  • Review and approve changes to existing inventory stock levels
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting related to inventory performance
  • Track and manage all repairable inventory components
  • Create requisitions and purchase orders for repairable items
  • Review and update SOBO (Stock On‑Behalf‑Of) min/max levels
  • Implement inventory stock adjustments based on usage, demand, and analysis
  • Lead inventory counts and reconciliation activities
  • Perform other duties as required to support inventory planning and control
