NES Fircroft are currently supporting our valued client, a Global Oil & Gas Operator, who are looking for a Wellsite Representative to their Team for an initial 12- month contract.
Roster is a fixed 14/14-day rotation but flexibility is required as WSR assignments move periodically throughout the year.

As a key member of the Well Services Team, you will oversee and coordinate land-based rigs and intervention units across multiple assets, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a strong safety culture from the office to the field.
Your role will span supervising day-to-day well operations. You will lead pre-job safety and operational planning, collaborate closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams, and uphold rigorous HSE standards to drive incident-free outcomes. With a fixed 14/14 rotation and evolving operational demands, flexibility and leadership are essential as you champion continuous improvement and compliance in well lifecycle management.

Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage workover rigs and intervention units (slickline, E-line, coiled tubing, pumping units)
- Strong well control knowledge and certification (IWCF Level 4 Surface/Subsea or IADC Supervisors Surface/Subsea)
- Proficient in executing well procedures, including well plug and abandonment, well integrity diagnostics, and remediation techniques
- Excellent understanding of HSE regulations, permit to work systems, and incident response protocols
- Experience with operational planning, risk management, and job safety analyses (HAZIDs, ENVIDs)
- Skilled in wellsite documentation and reporting, including the use of wellbore schematic software such as WellView and scheduling tools like JDE Execute
- Experience with sucker rod pumps, progressing cavity pumps (PCP), and water injector wells
- Knowledge of conventional and new surface wellhead systems, including XT systems
- Familiarity with WellSafe Plan/Design certifications and rig safety case requirements
- Previous exposure to CO2 CCUS operations or fields undergoing decommissioning and well abandonment
- Strong leadership in driving Operational Excellence frameworks and behavioral safety programs
- Relevant technical qualifications in petroleum engineering, drilling technology, or related disciplines
- Proven track record in land-based oil and gas well operations, particularly in workover and intervention environments
- Minimum of several years’ experience working directly on rigs or within operational well services teams
- Ability to commit to a fixed 14/14-day work rotation with flexibility to adapt as assignments evolve
- Willingness to travel and relocate as needed to support different field operations throughout the year
- Commitment to maintaining WellSafe rig certification and participating in continuous safety training
