With over 90 years’ combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is pleased to announce the expansion of its specialist staffing business across Asia.

NES Fircroft has been operational in Asia since 1995, recruiting technical and engineering staff across the Oil, Gas & Chemicals, Power & Renewables, Life Sciences and Construction industries. Due to continued growth of the Energy Sector in Asia, NES Fircroft has opened a new Taiwan office and expanded into a larger office in Shanghai, China - enabling NES to further support clients and candidates across the region.

These offices join a network of 15 established locations stretching across the continent, from Japan, and South Korea in North Asia to Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and the Philippines in the South East.

Fully Operational in Taiwan

Taiwan has set targets to receive 20% of its energy from renewable sources by 2025, which has created considerable investment and offers opportunities for engineering talent in Taiwan and across the world.

Thomas Farrelly, Regional Director – North Asia, NES Fircroft said:

‘The Taiwan office allows our clients to benefit from our global reach whilst receiving a localised service offering. We can continue providing them with bespoke workforce solutions as the country invests heavily in emerging and alternative energy sources.

The central Taipei office houses our experts, all of whom work within the framework of the local Labor Standards Authority and are excited to be able to share our robust and compliant mode of operation.'

Expanding Presence in Shanghai

China’s energy industry is experiencing rapid growth year on year and it’s been the world’s largest producer of electricity since 2011. To support this ever-expanding sector, NES has grown its operations into a larger office, located in Xin Tian Di, one of the key commercial sectors in Shanghai.

Thomas Farrelly, Regional Director – North Asia, NES Fircroft said:

‘Shanghai is the central hub of our business in China and despite the challenges of COVID-19, it’s important that we invest in an office that can house the infrastructure conducive of our further expansion.

The new location will allow us to expand our support to clients and candidates alike on a larger scale whilst maintaining our compliance and high recruitment standards.’
